Rosegal Wishlist

Rosegal Wishlist

RoseGal is a fashion brand started by a group of friends who all share the same passion for vintage style fashion. They create vintage inspired clothing with a modern take. They even say: “We see the vintage style as being a uniquely timeless fashion statement, effortlessly embodying and capturing the essence of classic fashion. This contrasts with the transforming, evolving nature of modern styles that capture the essence of urban energy and edgy lifescapes.

That is exactly what I like about their Autumn collection: timeless chic and feminine elegance – you can browse them here. Here are a few of my favourite autumn garments…

Why slim girls need to go to the gym

Why slim girls need to go to the gym

I go to the gym and lift a bit of weights. Not much, but enough to shape up some muscles around my bones. I’ve had this conversation why I do it quite a few times now and I thought it would be good to put it in a post.

No matter of your figure type, it’s always good to exercise and keep fit – just from a healthy point of view. Even if you’re not after major changes, you need to move those muscle fibers occasionally.

Yanamade Handbags

I’ve got one very beautiful friend from university which is not only a smart a**, but a strong, brave lady with multiple talents. She emailed me these days to ask for a very BIG favour! To feature her on my blog?!

Imagine that I had no idea of her new hobby – Yanamade Handbags!! And with no surprise I discovered that she is able to create stunning handmade accessories. I’ll stop talking now and will let Yana describe what she made…

The autumn is definitely here, but I still enjoy wearing monochrome outfits. There is something very special and chic in a simple black and white outfit. You can play with the fabrics, materials and add some accents.

Skin Luminizer by Max Factor

Skin Luminizer by Max Factor

Monday #FOTD Post

This time it’s going to be a #faceoftheday post rather than #outfitoftheday, simply because I discovered a product worth sharing.

I avoid using foundation on a daily basis, because I firmly believe that it’s important for the skin to breath freely. I found that no matter of the quality it is and the price I’ve paid for a foundation, no matter how deep I’ve cleaned my face afterward, if I use it for a few days in a row, I get spots. Therefore, I only put foundation once or twice a week and I always try to find a good one.

This spring I got myself a 3-in-1 Facefinity foundation with SPF 20 by Max Factor and I loved it so much – it covers skin imperfections really well. When I saw it was half finished by the end of the summer, I rushed to Boots to get a new one. This time I was tempted to try the new Skin Luminizer foundation.

#NoFilter Geneva

#NoFilter Geneva

This post is a part of the #NoFilter Switzerland challenge held by London City Airport. The aim of the #NoFilter project is to get back to the roots of photography, celebrating the fact that photos don’t need to be Instagrammed or filtered in order to show how beautiful a city is.

Last winter my fiance had a work project in Geneva, Switzherland. At the time we didn’t have our camera yet, so we only took a few photos of the beautiful city with a phone using #nofilter. I was happy that I was asked to take part of this challenge and would finally have the opportunity to share a few photos from Geneva.

The photos are certainly not claiming to be any professional, but show this beautiful city nethertheless. The photos I chose capture the everyday life of a working city. I know many see it as a touristic place, but together with it’s classic European architecture and beautiful sights, it is a working busy city with its cozy coffee shops, sheltered bus stops and ornamented buildings.

Silk Bedding Direct – Product Review

Silk Bedding Direct – Product Review

Silk Bedding Direct are focused on mulberry silk filled duvets only. Their duvets are produced in China – the Zhejiand province where 90% of the best quality silk originates. Importing them directly to the UK, allows Silk Bedding Direct to offer them much cheaper than any other department store sells silk duvets for.

I was asked to make a product review of a mulberry silk duvet so we’ve tested and tried it for over a week and here are the results…

White Pearls

White Pearls

Monday Outfit Post

One of the last few days of sunshine this year, I decided to dress down my pearl necklace for a casual look. I love these authentic big white pearls from my grandmother, but I normally would only wear them with an evening dress. This time I wanted to create a day look for the white pearls.

A crisp white simple top and a breeze check black and white skirt came very handy, both from Dorothy Perkins. I got this skirt from the latest sales and I can see how it’s going to be one of my favourite pieces for layering in the coming months. I completed the look with a small purse handbag and a pair of summer mules.

Liebster Award 4

Liebster Award 4

Hey guys, I got nominated with the Liebster Award from a fellow blogger last month. I was wondering for quite a while if I should answer, but then I thought why not – it’s all for fun!

In the rules it’s stated that you should nominate fairly new bloggers with up to 200 followers, so I first though I shouldn’t really take part of it any more, especially being nominated 3 times before. On a second thought – it’s cool and I find it so heart warming that the friends who I made through blogging, want to award me nevertheless. I decided this time I will only reply the questions and won’t award any more bloggers – considering I’ve awarded other blogger 3 times already, it would be fair to pass it now.

So… here are the questions which Cvety Baby asked me – she a lovely young lady from Bulgaria who is just on her way to graduate a degree in Law. I haven’t met her yet, but ever since we found each other’s blogs, we chat on the social media and exchange long emails quite frequently. I’ve got the feeling there is at least a meeting over a cup of coffee aligned for us two during one of my next visits to Bulgaria.
