Product Review

When I was starting this blog, I wrote about my strange ankle condition called Accessory Navicular Syndrome due to which some simple sport activities such as running or skipping cause me lots of pain. For a person who likes to have active lifestyle and workout, it’s a little bit annoying that I can’t benefit from running as other people do, but sometimes we just have to deal with what we’ve got.

After I spent many years trying out sports which caused me enormous pain in my ankles, I discovered the ones I can’t do: jogging, running, kick-boxing, tae-bo… When I crossed those ones out, I finally dedicated myself to staying fit through doing what I CAN do. The good old gym workout can never let you down.

Saying all this, shoes for me are the most important part of the gear. I don’t mind wearing any plain tank top and a pair of leggings, as long as my training shoes provide me comfort and stability. I tried out many different brands and styles, until I found the right ones for me…

Autumn Neutrals

Monday Outfit Post

It’s that time of the year, when suddenly the cold arrived and I’m not quite adapted yet. The sun seems as a distant memory from another era, whilst the London sky shows at least 50 shades of grey. I’m running around to meetings and events and all I really want is to feel warm, yet to keep some elegance. It’s time for layering!

25 Hour Convenience Store – The Website Design

25 Hour Convenience Store – The Website Design

Website Design Portfolio

When I heard that Gary Powell, the drummer of the Libertines, wanted to talk to me about redesigning one of his websites, I got so excited. He’s not only my man’s best friend, but is going to be the best man at our wedding and I wanted to create the best website for him that I possibly could! Although the project was a bit complex, it turned out to be one of my favourites.

We were discussing the 25 hour convenience store record label, whose website was based on an old version of WordPress. It had a huge blog section, but hadn’t been updated since 2012, but we had to keep as much of the existing content as possible. He trusted my expertise and gave me the freedom to create the best solution for the purposes of the label and allowed me to propose a completely new concept. Here is what I did and how we got to the final result…

Why I don’t like Kim Kardashian’s donuts

Why I don’t like Kim Kardashian’s donuts

I was going to write about something very different today, but whilst working I’ve been bombarded with glazed donuts showing up from everywhere on the internet. When I read that Kim Kardashian is an advocate for feminism and if other women don’t like her then they’re judging, I thought it’s time to have my say.

I’ve never liked idolizing anyone or anything and personally respect people who are honest – honest with themselves first and then with the rest of the world.

As a female lifestyle blogger, one of my main ethos is to show real beauty. I don’t use photo retouches or enhancements to pretend I look any better than I can achieve without the camera. I deeply believe that every woman is beautiful when she’s feeling good in her own skin. Too slim, too fat, too bony, too curvy – we can’t be liked by everyone – so as long as we’re healthy and looking after our own well being, the most important thing for us women is to be comfortable in our own skin.

Furniture by Inside Out – New Showroom

Furniture by Inside Out – New Showroom

Inside Out is one of the furniture suppliers my fiance works with at his company AnotherCup. I’ve been to their old showroom and even snapped a few shots of their truly amazing furniture, but the photos didn’t look too good to share them here.

Just a while ago, they moved to a new and bigger showroom and organized a cocktail party to celebrate it. Robert and I were invited, as I do the marketing and web design for his company and I’m part of the team. I can’t even tell you how much I loved the two floor showroom – certainly it wasn’t only because of the cocktails, although they helped.

New Look Christmas Jumper

New Look Christmas Jumper

Monday Outfit Post

Let me tell you a story about a jumper. It’s been sat in my wardrobe for a few good years now, but I still remember how I bought it. It looked a bit rough from the beginning, but has these green and orange patterns that go so well for a casual outfit for the winter holidays. It’s the perfect cozy piece for layering in the cold winter days and I simply don’t want to depart with it. Do you have such an old winter jumper? I’m sure you do! :)

This year I found another little number from the New Look range which will make it a good company for my winter looks for the years to come. It’s the cutest softest winter knit and has two sequined penguins. Simply adorable!
