The Modern A-line Silhouette

The Modern A-line Silhouette

Monday Outfit Post

I guess everyone can recall at least once when they checked the pocket of an old jacket and found a little forgotten cash. I felt in a similar way  when I arranged my wardrobe for spring the other week and discovered a forgotten pair of heels which I’ve worn only once or twice! What a delight – they were in perfect condition and also so much in trend with the 70s fashion vibe.

To take them out for a walk in London, I decided to create a polished city version of the classic A-line silhouette. It’s feminine, elegant and very easy to wear..

The Challenge and Reward of Wedding Photography

Guest Blogger Bethany Cleg

Most brides will hire a wedding photographer, but many brides don’t understand how hard it is to capture a wedding. That’s ok its not their job to understand that, but understanding what a wedding photographer deals with will not only help you figure out what photographer to pick, but it will aid you in creating a environment where you will get the best pictures possible.

Classic Double Denim Outfit – Inspiration Idea with American Eagle Outfitters

Classic Double Denim Outfit – Inspiration Idea with American Eagle Outfitters

Monday Outfit Post

I remember the days when denim on denim had to be worn in exactly the same colour and texture, otherwise it was almost considered a crime. Later followed the years when it was unthinkable to wear a denim shirt over jeans – unimaginable. Luckily, all these rules don’t apply any more.

I created a very casual and very easy to wear double denim outfit with a few classic staple pieces from American Eagle Outfitters. Tell me what you think below in the comments, please…

Chelsea Spring Fling Fashion Show – The Catwalk

Chelsea Spring Fling Fashion Show – The Catwalk

One evening last month I came out of the tube station dressed in a little black dress waiting for Agnese Vetra – a lovely student photographer I met at London Fashion Weekend in February. When we first met after one of the talking sessions at the #LFWend, we quickly exchanged details. After our second meeting over a cup of tea we were both convinced to chase more fashion adventures together, and here we were – getting ready for the Chelsea Spring Fling fashion show.

As it often happens, I had a disagreement with my phone’s Google maps, so Agnese and I ended up having a longer walk than expected, but we eventually found the magnificent building of the Chelsea Old Town Hall. Breathtaking marble pillars, alluring chandeliers and a live jazz band greeted us from the entrance, and all of a sudden we felt like special guests to a very private fashion show.

This is how I have planned a family holiday in Florence

This is how I have planned a family holiday in Florence

With our wedding on the way, my mum gave me a difficult task. She wants to buy us a holiday! We already decided that we’re not going on honeymoon, but we’re going to have a week of celebrations instead. After the wedding, we’re heading to the beach together with our guests to continue the party. My mum still remembers how after her wedding, her parents bought them a holiday as a present and the memories from that first holiday as a husband and wife are still with her.

Well, it’s difficult to argue with your mother sometimes, so we decided to think of a holiday destination – somewhere neither of us has been to, so we can explore it together for the first time. Here I will share with you some of the places on our bucket list. Let’s start with Florence!

Graduates in the Spotlight – Public Vote

Graduates in the Spotlight – Public Vote

Now that we have been talking about elections in the UK for almost a week, I’d like to invite you to take part of a little bit different vote.

Nude Jewellery is a boutique shop for designer jewellery located in the heart of Mayfair, London. Once a year they hold a contest giving a chance to university graduates to have their kick start as jewellery designers. As you may have already read on the blog (here), I was kindly invited by Nikki Galloway (a designer herself and owner of Nude Jewellery) to be one of the judges and help in the selection of the top 3 finalists.

Now it’s time for the public to decide which graduate designer will be in the spotlight…

Monday Outfit Post

There is one major thing in London which is very unpredictable and everyone is happy to see – the sun. Once it’s showing through the clouds, you’re out trying to make the most of it, because no one knows how long it’s going to last and when you’ll be able to see it again. It took one very cold and rainy summer to learn that if it’s sunny today, enjoy it today!

Starting Gold Crush Hair Supplements

Starting Gold Crush Hair Supplements

It’s been ages, probably 10-15 years, since I last took any supplements to boost my hair and nails. I don’t make an effort to cut my hair on a regular basis, but I want to look my best at our wedding this summer, so I had to find a solution.

The last time I cut my hair was in June last year. I finally went to a hair stylist to repair the damage last week, I realized I needed that little extra help that only multi vitamins and good food supplements can provide. I researched what’s out there and found Gold Crush.
