An afternoon in Islington

Islington is one of my favourite places in London – not too fancy, neither too full of toursits, while in the same time it’s got everything you need to just melt into the urban life. I love the high street leading to Angel – it’s got literally restaurants from every corner of the world, small  contemporary coffee and sweet shops, modern and vintage fashion, bars and pubs from every style, and even a vineyard!

I’m so happy when me and my man have time to go there for an afternoon in the weekend. If the weather’s good, you can go a few steps away from the main street and crash upon the local vintage market; or just go to Vue and see the latest movie. This time, we decided to make a pub crawl and visit all the places we’ve missed the previous times. It was amazing! We found an amazing rock pub which I haveto visit again and again and maybe again…, a new bar/restaurant and a few more not-miss places.

This time I wore layers, lots of layers in the BW theme – it was way too cold:
Bershka jacket
Jane Norman handbag
Dorothy Perkins patterned skinny jeans
my most favourite old scarf, which my brother bought me once for Christmas
Too True cardi
and a vintage white top

I do quite like mixing high street brands with some old lovely pieces which I have in the wardrobe. 🙂
