One evening last month I came out of the tube station dressed in a little black dress waiting for Agnese Vetra – a lovely student photographer I met at London Fashion Weekend in February. When we first met after one of the talking sessions at the #LFWend, we quickly exchanged details. After our second meeting over a cup of tea we were both convinced to chase more fashion adventures together, and here we were – getting ready for the Chelsea Spring Fling fashion show.
As it often happens, I had a disagreement with my phone’s Google maps, so Agnese and I ended up having a longer walk than expected, but we eventually found the magnificent building of the Chelsea Old Town Hall. Breathtaking marble pillars, alluring chandeliers and a live jazz band greeted us from the entrance, and all of a sudden we felt like special guests to a very private fashion show.

As the models started down the catwalk, I enjoyed the very private view from my spot, happily sipping some bubbly. I had a nice chat with one of the organizers about the talented emerging designers whose collections you can see in the photos below.
Fashion & Textiles by designer Grace Ekall – very inspiring designer with an amazing story to tell. Make sure you check her website to find out more and see her amazing patterns and prints.
Fashion designer Reece C W – presenting beautiful ready-to-wear garments for the modern city girl, perfect to take you from day to night.
