It’s a London Thing – 6/12 Dorothy Perkins Denim

{Outfit of the Day Post}

It’s one of those very typical London days – it rains, it’s warm-ish, it’s grey and cloudy. You’re meeting a few girlfriends to catch up with over some cocktails and have a walk through the streets of Brick Lane and Shoredith, so it means that you have to be well prepared.

My theme for this outfit is something like a blank leopard. I wanted to take my new pair of Dorothy Perkins jeans. It’s my 6th piece which I receive from the #dpdenim competition – I’m half way through my annual supply of denim. It’s funny, but sometimes when I put an outfit together, I realize that almost every piece I’m wearing is from the same brand.

My choice of denim this month is a pair of Petite black coated jeggings – perfect for the early autumn with a very nice urban look. I started loving the simplicity and comfort of jegging pants.

These beautiful statement earrings are from the Royal Crafts collection. The have a gentle Gothic appearance and the stone used is coral which is believed to bring joy and happiness. You can purchase your pair from Detelina‘s Facebook page.

I know I’ve said it before, but it’s important that the profit from the jewelry goes for the rescued cats from Saving Royal Cats. The winter is coming, so the cats will need good food and warm conditions, so any kind of donation and jewelry purchases would be very much appreciated!

We walked pass the old Truman’s building on Brick Lane. Truman is the new big thing in London at the moment. Being one of the best British breweries for the last 350 years, but closed for long time, it’s opening its doors again on a new place.

And a piece of street art somewhere in the small streets off the Shoreditch High Street.
