This post is a part of the #NoFilter Switzerland challenge held by London City Airport. The aim of the #NoFilter project is to get back to the roots of photography, celebrating the fact that photos don’t need to be Instagrammed or filtered in order to show how beautiful a city is.
Last winter my fiance had a work project in Geneva, Switzherland. At the time we didn’t have our camera yet, so we only took a few photos of the beautiful city with a phone using #nofilter. I was happy that I was asked to take part of this challenge and would finally have the opportunity to share a few photos from Geneva.
The photos are certainly not claiming to be any professional, but show this beautiful city nethertheless. The photos I chose capture the everyday life of a working city. I know many see it as a touristic place, but together with it’s classic European architecture and beautiful sights, it is a working busy city with its cozy coffee shops, sheltered bus stops and ornamented buildings.
