At the start of a season of wedding preparations and romantic events, I’m excited to show you Siren // A modern-day muse tale – a stylish fashion film, showing a bride preparing for her wedding as various personas. It’s realistic, it’s gritty, its luxe. It’s a far cry from the fairy-tale but it’s beautiful, it’s true and it celebrates women.
The film features an exclusive sneak peek of the upcoming “Siren” bridal collection for 2018 by Sabina Motasem, to be unveiled at White Gallery in May.
For the new collection, styles are inspired by modern-day pioneering icons, the women who are close to Sabina Motasem, and their real brides. In Greek mythology, Sirens were dangerous, yearning but immensely powerful creatures, who lured sailors with their enchanting voices to shipwreck. She’s not so different to the muse of the fashion film, a strong independent woman in a real day world where perhaps the traditional doesn’t exist anymore and thus making her question what she wants. But it’s in those complexities that make women even more beautiful, more desirable, and more enigmatic.
Dressing fashion-forward brides in effortlessly chic, luxe dresses since 2007, Sabina Motasem is stocked in selected bridal boutiques in the UK, Ireland and Australia and coming soon for the first time to the US. There are chic two-pieces, floaty tulle skirts, slinky camis, elegant separates, sumptuously modern lace dresses and goddess-like embellished dresses with super sexy low backs – there’s a dress to suit all palettes.
A signature-style inspired by the romance of vintage Hollywood, the passion of dance and a love for modern aesthetics with clean simple lines. The dresses are made from the finest silks with a superior cut and proudly made in London. No detail goes unnoticed. No corners are ever cut.
