I know I’m running a little bit late with my posts which I have planned and prepared for this week. I’ll probably bombard you with a few very shortly.
This was the outfit I wore while on the last week over-night visit to Montpellier, The South of France. It was a business trip with an afternoon free just for two of us. When choosing what to wear I had to consider a few things:
- An early flight, so getting up time was 5:30 am – not my usual time indeed!
- Ony in the late afternoon I’d be able to get to the hotel room and leave my hand luggage, so I better have on something not too fussy.
- Our first meeting with the customers was going to be for a lunch on the beach. Beautiful restaurant, amazing view, and most importantly: SUNSHINE!
Considering all of the above and where we’re going, I decided to go slightly casual with jeans and have a top which is easy to add or remove (leaving cold London in the morning and probably get a bit chilly in the evening in Montpellier).
The embroidery from the met a similar pattern on my blouse – which is actually a beautiful vintage piece made out of pure cotton in light pink and with a peplum shape. It’s amazing how fashion makes circles around similar trends and you can have an unique vintage garment, combined with modern pieces and accessories.
