Introducing this season’s must-have matte: the soft matte with liquid impact. Vivid Matte Liquid was the official lip colour of London Fashion Week in September 2016. Let your lips set the trend with 8 super saturated shades.
Now that we’re deep into the beautiful autumn season and I’ve had enough time to test and fall in love these lipsticks, I want you to know about them too!
In case you didn’t know, matte is the new black. It’s the new must-have trend for lipsticks and trust me – once you go matte you will never go back.
Ever since I saw them backstage at London Fashion Week and I had the chance to test the lip colours myself, I hardly reach out for any of my old lipsticks.
Designed in the shape of a lip-gloss, these lip colours actually are the opposite of gloss. They have a strong vivid pigmentation that immaculately cover the lips. The creamy texture glides on leaving your pout with a smooth velvet finish.
They appear a lot more natural than regular glosses and if you’re tired of that wet lip look which we have been stuck with for over a decade, you definately need to enter the new matte era!
With a long-lasting and no-smudge formula, Vivid Matte Liquid is the perfect lipstick for a busy city girl.
Tested and loved by me
I’ve tested them in a number of tricky situations: at work, for a day out with friends, for brunch and even at my cousin’s hen party. You have probably even spotted me wearing different shades for many of my outfit posts here and on Instagram.
An applicator with a slanted tip with ultra-soft bristles makes it easy to contour and shape your lips. For best results apply the matte liquid by starting in the centre of your upper lip. Work from the centre to the outer edges, and then follow the contours of your mouth. Glide the lipstick across the entire bottom lip.
